It was a big week for hip-hop last week. Following its release on October 28th, Jeezy‘s latest album Trap or Die 3 has debuted at number one on the Billboard chart. The album managed to move 89,000 units in its first week, with 73,000 traditional album sales (pretty impressive!). This is Jeezy’s third number one on the Billboard chart, after The Recession and The Inspiration.
Meek Mill’s DC4 mixtape also hit the top 5, debuting at number three with 87,000 units and 45,000 traditional album sales. The MMG rapper’s last album to chart was Dreams Worth More Than Money at number one just last year.
