London rapper Jesse James Solomon released his new EP The Ride Home in August, and today, he’s returning to the project for an official video for “YPT.” The up and comer teams up with Los Angeles filmmaker Noah Lee (Rejjie Snow affiliate) to put together an equally devilish visual to the track, which features puppets and a whole lot of blood. If you’re wondering what the whole thing’s about, here’s what he had to say:
“She played tennis, I retired from football about 18 months ago. When I said she was playing I was serious—she was almost too busy pursuing her tennis career to engage with my attempts at her heart.”
Solomon was recently featured on a track called “Whole Half” on Wiki’s new album Lil Me.
