Jevon is a problem. The rising London MC/producer, who was one of the stars of XL Recordings’ New Gen compilation, is making a statement with his fiery new release called “Redemption.” In the song, Jevon spits about goals of making £50 million, trust for his mother and just how good his throwaway tracks are.
“I wanted to make something that sounded epic, dark but uplifting at the same time,” Jevon told The Line of Best Fit. “Like the bad guy in the movie you thought was dead but returns in the sequel.” There’s also a directed by Billy Boyd Cape-directed video to go with it.
