ScHoolboy Q, YG and Conway the Machine aren’t the only ones postponing the release of singles and albums after the untimely passing of Nipsey Hussle this month. Jhene Aiko is also doing so, to take some time to reflect on Nip and regroup before carrying on with her own music.
As she responded to a comment on Instagram, she had planned some new music this month, but now those plans are on hold.
She didn’t quite divulge when she would release the music that was supposed to drop, but she did acknowledge that she would do so when she was ready.
The family and friends of Hussle will be honoring the late rapper in Los Angeles through a “Celebration of Life” memorial at STAPLES Center this Thursday. Get your tickets as soon as possible if you plan to attend, before they sell out.
