Much like the entire city of Los Angeles and virtually anybody in the know, both ScHoolboy Q and YG have been taking the death of Nipsey Hussle very hard. Considering Q and Nip’s rival neighborhood’s have an unfortunate long-standing war in the streets, both sides have respect for the two.
When it came to the music, Q confirmed that he was planning to drop his “cHopstix” single with Travis Scott this Friday, but those plans have been put on hold for the moment. After going to a candlelight vigil for his friend earlier this week as well, YG was seen honoring the great on the ‘gram with some touching words. Well, prior to this tragic situation, the 4Hunnid rep was planning to release a surprise album next weekend. The lead-single entitled “In the Dark” was slated to arrive earlier this week, but was scrapped indefinitely. The album drops in May now.
