Jimmy Henchman Gets New Murder-For-Hire Trial

The trial of Henchman gets reopened

Nearly three years ago, James Rosemond was sentenced to life in prison for cocaine trafficking, money laundering and alleged witness tampering. However, the Brooklyn mogul and former manager of The Game, also received an extra 20 years for murder-for-hire, in the death of G-Unit associate, Lowell “Lodi Mack” Fletcher. Now, it looks like his case is being reopened by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, who found he was deprived of his right to a fair trial.

According to Henchman’s lawyer, he was barred from putting up a proper defense, which a testimony from the person involved led to his conviction. According to reports, Mr. Rosemond never used the words “kill” or “murder,” when allegedly ordering the attack in the Bronx during 2005.

The backstory of events from court records revealed Fletcher assaulted Jimmy’s 14-year-old son with a gun outside of Hot 97 in 2007, which time was served before his death two years later. After filing a habeas corpus appeal last March for his R.I.C.O. life imprisonment sentencing and witness tampering, Henchman now has a large ladder to climb in regaining his freedom.
