Next week will mark the release of Joey Bada$$’ long-awaited “Summer Knights” album which has seen some slight push-backs. Just like the track “95 Til Infinity”, Joey walks through the streets of the rotten apple in Flatbush over across the bridge to Forty-Deuce, giving us a prospective of his self-directed vision for the song in a 90’s influenced state of mind. While features haven’t been revealed with the exception of Kirk Knight (also producing); the upcoming project has production from Statik Selektah, Lee Bannon, and Chuck Strangers revealed. Lookout this Monday, July 1st for Joey’s follow-up to “1999” as an appetizer until we get his debut studio album “B4.Da.$$” next year.
