Brooklyn savior, Joey Bada$$ spoke candidly with Pitchfork about his New York audiences at SOB’s for CMJ in comparisons to their Pitchfork Villain Showcase. Joey felt the crowd should’ve been more excited with collection of talented artist billed on the card and not receiving appreciation from his home city enough.
He feels like his appreciation from the fans isn’t there in NYC yet as he plans on becoming one of the biggest talents in music with due time, which we all agree with he can achieve if he keeps putting out original content like he’s been doing thus far.
