Over the summer, 2013 British-American historical drama film, 12 Years a Slave premiered for independent film festivals. Next Friday on November 1st, the movie will finally hit theaters worldwide. The Steve McQueen-directed film has an official soundtrack presented by John Legend through Columbia Records, features some original music from the likes of Alicia Keys, Gary Clark Jr., Alabama Shakes, Joy Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Cody Chestnutt.
