Besides “Love Me Now,” John Legend‘s Darkness and Light album has been a little slept on. Last night, he was on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform one of the tracks from the effort for the late night audience. The track saw John on the piano accompanied by violins and carried by his vocals throughout the performance. “Surefire” turned into a slower tempo ballad compared to the album version, but he still gave the Ed Sullivan Theater a live show to enjoy.
