It doesn’t feel like it’s been nearly 5 years since the last solo John Legend album, but we’ve been waiting long enough as it’s just the beginning of what to expect from the R&B/soul singer. Since putting his solo career on hold, we’ve seen collaborative albums from the GRAMMY-Award winner with the Roots on “Wake Up!” and obviously the debut album from G.O.O.D. Music, “Cruel Summer.” Now we get the first release from his Love In the Future with the release of its first single, “The Beginning.” If you enjoy this track, you can stay tuned for his fourth studio album “Love In the Future” coming later this year.
