Earlier this year, Juelz Santana turned himself in for reportedly bringing two guns to Newark Liberty International Airport. After spending nearly, a month in jail, the Harlem rep was released on house arrest, which has temporarily halted his entertainment career. However, he received provision to join the Diplomats on tour this summer, as long as he’s traveling only with his mother.
This week, the Associated Press shared new details for L’z on-going case, as he’s looking to negotiate a plea deal for the incident after claiming his innocence. Santana pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft. The trial was scheduled for early September, but has been extended until at least the 30th of next month.
