Last year, R&B songstress K. Michelle released the highly-anticipated follow-up to her 2013 album with Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart?. The album debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart — the year’s highest charting debut from a female R&B artist. After hitting the road for part one of her My Twisted Mind Tour, the singer-songwriter is back with her new music video “Hard To Do,” the third official single release off the album.
The video, directed by Child Basquiat — who directed her previous video “Something About The Night” — features Michelle in an exotic setting, with flamingos and a zebra, where she goes through plenty of wardrobe changes and even undresses and rolls around in mud and splashes around in a tub. All while crooning to her man about how hard it is to get through the days without him by her side and of course, putting it on him.
