It feels like yesterday when I threw Kandace Springs‘ “West Coast” into rotation and she’s been killing it ever since. It’s no surprise that another record from her debut project has spiked my attention, especially because this is the first real look at what she’s all about. For some reason, Kandace gives me that old Alicia Keys vibe. For the video, Tha Crown Jules-directed video goes a little retro with it, but KS comes off like a shorty you would want to kick it with.
Love almost got in the way and blinded me.
