It looks like TIDAL isn’t the only platform that’s hearing changes from Kanye West albums and The Life of Pablo isn’t the only album getting different arrangements. Apple Music is also getting songs fixed on the low, with fans noticing changes in a few Yeezus tracks that weren’t there before.
The changes come in the form of “Black Skinhead” (“For my theme song/My leather black jeans on” now carries more distortion than previously heard) and “Send It Up” (the backing instrumental at 1:30 has been cut), which now sound different than the original releases.
You can hear the subtle changes over on Apple Music now.
In related Yeezy news, the rapper is being sued for deceiving fans into subscribing to TIDAL. The class action lawsuits claims the album was only supposed to be offered through the streaming service, but by allowing Apple Music, Spotify and others to have it, it forced millions to subscribe and boost valuation numbers when it was a lie that it would be exclusive to only TIDAL.
Justin Baker-Rhett filed a complaint in a federal court in San Francisco, asking a judge to delete all information from users who only subscribed to hear TLOP. According to the lawsuit information from the new subscribers could be worth up to $84 million.
