Yesterday, Friday, April 15, was the first day of the annual Coachella festival in 2016, so you know it kicked off with a bang and will only get better as the weekend progresses. A$AP Rocky was one of the many acts to touch the stage last night and his 30 minute set was full of excitment as he treated the crowd with a number of his favorite tracks. Flacko opened the set with a special effect performance of “JD” and followed with “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2” and “Long. Live. A$AP.”
That wasn’t it, Rocky brought out A$AP Nast and other members of A$AP Mob to perform the posse cut “Hella Hoes” and later was joined by ScHoolBoy Q to perform their collab “Electric Body.” Closing out the set, Kanye West was also a surprise guest and he broke into a performance of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1.”
