YEEZY season and RHIRHI season continues!
While the wait for both Kanye West and Rihanna‘s forthcoming albums to release this year, snippets, teasers and more continue to release from the two star performers. Today, we have “Midas Touch” a track that is believed to be a demo Kanye recorded for Rihanna’s upcoming R8 album, but was scrapped for unknown reasons. After hearing this record, we can’t assume much, but from the songs lyrics, it’s obvious that it’s for sure not a song off of Kanye’s upcoming So Help Me God LP.
This isn’t the first time we heard a rapper’s reference song for the Barbados superstar either. A few years ago, a demo version of the song “I’m Ready For You” leaked by Drake, and was presumed to be a song meant for RiRi, but was ultimately used by Rita Ora and served as her breakout single “R.I.P” featuring Tinie Tempah.
