Most notably, that Hollywood is shut down for pandemic, she’s been off camera, and has stayed active in music before her filming career resumes in late 2021. Let’s talk about it! I’m sure some of you can relate to loving someone, romantically, friend or family that you know just needs encouragement and support, yet is mean to everyone that tries to give it to them… Well that’s usually because that’s the only way they learned how to communicate how they FEEL. I know both sides of it! Whether I was doing it or it was being done to me it was always based in some trauma. They were hurting and couldn’t express it so they projected it on to me, or I projected it on to them. That feeling you get when you are hurt and someone is hurting with you, it can give off the idea you’re getting closer but in reality they are just validating whatever shame you already feel. Then the cycle of shame continues until one or both of you decide that trauma bonding isn’t a connection that leads to growth. If you and that person keep triggering each other’s trauma, how can you move on from it? If someone is constantly triggering your trauma not only are they not apart of pushing you forward, but actually assisting you in holding you in that place where your trauma exists constantly. Intentionally or unintentionally. 😓 What has been your experience when it comes to trauma and trauma bonds?
