We’ve heard enough records from Kelow as she prepped us for her anticipated debut EP, Amethsyt Stoner, to get ready for what was to come. Sticking to her planned release date of the project, the DC rising star is here to finally release her latest body of work. Led by the singles “Finna,” “I Got That,” and “Baddabing,” Amethsyt Stoner gives us 7-tracks from Zilla with one feature from Xaivia Inniss.
Here’s what Kelow had to say about the new EP and her state of mind while creating it.
I took foot on a journey I didn’t intend to foresee before I created this master piece “Amethyst Stoner.” It’s my birthstone I found interest without depth and traveled deeper within myself, sacrificing qualities I thought would last forever, but nothing does and I’m ok with that. Releasing attachments I recognized my health mental spirit discernment approach to deliver in communicate needed growth.

a juxtaposing title defining paradox like most whom have trouble recognizing their problems it was a process to realize that“I am the only one who can hurt me and I’ve Been overindulging in activity of such. But with that Im the only one who can heal me.” I give all glory to the creator always. I’ve become aware and awoken of myself. I’ve come far but their still much further to go for the battle is still at hand. I am healing and I know I illustrate my that with Amethyst Stoner!!!
