EXCLUSIVE: The Reason Kendrick Lamar will Never Leave TDE
Kendrick Lamar 2020 album information news is finally confirmed from Top Dawg Entertainment, after recent rumors of him leaving the label. Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Kendrick Lamar was leaving TDE, after rumors of a private court battle going on.
Well, after both parties shut down those rumors, K. Dot and his protégé Baby Keem were featured in a piece for I-D Magazine this week. There, the two discussed Keem’s next major moves, including the launch of their pgLang movement.
K. Dot quietly explained why it takes him so long to release content, after years, which is ideal for quality content the public wants. Following that, fans immediately went to social media to ask the President of TDE whether or not he was dropping an album before 2020. This marked the company’s first ever confirmed piece of information for a new Kenny album.
It was even teased to arrive before 2021, with Punch saying “soon soon.” This would mark his first album since 2017’s DAMN album, almost going four years since a solo album. Hopefully K. Dot makes a formal announcement for his album in the coming weeks.
Pretty soon.
