When Nielsen Music announced that Hip-Hop had overtaken Rock as the most popular genre in the United States, we got a little bit of information about what the most popular album in 2017 was. That crown went to Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN, which has now reached another accolade.
Kung Fun Kenny is certified double platinum by the RIAA and is the first album to do so this year (and first of his career). Today, he took time out of his day to thank fans for the accomplishment. Obviously, he owes much to his fans who hold him down.
