With everyone and their mother surprised that Kendrick Lamar released his album To Pimp A Butterfly a week early and after a couple blunders during the release, it seems like TDE have set stream records with the project. Sales figures have not yet been calculated, but if it’s one thing, people rushed to stream it on Spotify.
According to the Top Dawg Entertainment bosses, the effort was streamed close to 10 million times on the first day globally, making history for a release of an album.
