Kenzie May hasn’t been heard on the solo side of things for a while now, since her Skeleton Key EP, to be exact, but we have enjoyed her collaborative work whenever we catch her as a featured artist. Today, the London-raised singer is back with her new single “Honey,” as premiered by i-D. May explains “Honey” as being a song about a relationship that has reached its limit and on the decline. She also says it’s one of her more honest songs she’s written in recent times. Kenzie recorded the song live at a friend’s warehouse earlier this year, which was also captured on film and we should expect the video to arrive early next year.
Enjoy the new single above and lookout for more from Kenzie in the new year.
