Kevin Gates was on a brief music spree from late September to early October as he prepared listeners for his anticipated studio album Islah. A few weeks after unveiling the official artwork for the effort, KG is back today with the release of the latest promo single with “2 Phones,” which is usual Gates sound – loaded with a banging beat and melodic chorus. The street cut hears Gates rhyming about the many uses of his dual cellular devices. Whatever the use is, they both keep ring ring ringing.
