Rising Brooklyn rapper Kota The Friend has just released his new EP titled Anything. The project is the follow-up to last year’s Paloma Beach, and features the likes of Khary, Chelsea Reject, Kamau, Angel Haze, Childish Major, Sylvan LaCue, Hello Oshay and Chris Scholar.
“The project just felt needed, it felt right,” he says. “It’s hard to watch all these “music lovers” talk about what’s hot or next and exclude so many artists that make music, that actually moves forward our industry. So I thought of it as good vs evil and we have to fight that.”
