Legendary Guitarist Jimmy Page Remixed The Notorious B.I.G.

You know about Jimmy Page, right? The guitarist from the legendary Led Zeppelin?

Well, apparently he’s a fan of the late The Notorious B.I.G., because he was inspired to remix “Hypnotize” recently, turning the track from a New York rap classic to a barnyard square dance, still equipped with Diddy adlibs. Not knowing whether to laugh hysterically or cry during the first minute, the track took a sharp left turn as the second verse started, when Biggie’s vocals refused to match the beat —like every Lil B song.

Don’t worry, the original hook doesn’t get left off the cutting room floor. He used it towards the end to bring that classic ’90s feel back to the track.

This in no way, shape or form is a diss to Jimmy Page, but son needs to get some blending lessons from Ted Smooth one time. Biker bars, we found a new cut for you to throw in the jukebox.
