You might be familiar with Lil Uzi Vert, if not, let us take this time out to officially introduce the emerging rapper coming straight out of Philadelphia. Vert is currently riding the high of his party starting anthem “WDYW” with DJ Carnage, A$AP Ferg and Rich The Kid, as well as getting a major co-sign from Mr. Thanksgiving himself, DJ Drama and Don Cannon, who he is actually signed to. As you’ve seen in the recent weeks, the Philly native had been on the road this summer for the Boys of Zummer Tour, performing in front of sold out crowds at select dates across the U.S.
Some of past releases over the past few months has seen him working with the likes of Metro Boomin, Southside, Cardo, DJ Plugg and more of the game’s hottest producers. He’s back today with the release of two new tracks, one of which a banging cut titled “Finessin’ Hearts” with production by DP Beats. The other, a much slower tempo jam, but with plenty of bass on “NuYork Nights At 21 ++,” produced by 1st Down of FKi.
While we’re not sure what the young rising rapper has in store for fans as far as full length projects go, but expect something official to arrive in the coming months.
