Lil Yachty only really broke onto the scene last year, but he’s already one of the biggest names on the planet. His 2016 consisted of two mixtapes, Lil Boat and Summer Songs 2, but now he’s got plans to put out an LP. In a new cover story with MTV, he reveals that his upcoming debut album is titled Teenage Emotions, and that it’s nearly complete.
“My fans are so loyal and dedicated that I don’t care that much about winning people over, but I know it’s gonna change and people will eventually give my shit a chance, bro,” Yachty says. “That’s why I’m working so hard on this album, not to please other people but I’m just really trying, bro, to show people that like, I’m not just fucking bad!”
