One of the most popular Nu/Rap Metal bands in the late 90’s & early 2000’s was definitely the boys from Floirda who we knew as Limp Bizkit. The group took a hiatus after their fame and fortune lasting until 2009 when the crew decided to go back to the lab and recorded their sixth studio album “Gold Cobra.” The album received mainly positive reviews selling nearly 100K with only single, that was self-titled with the album.
Weezy, who’s a long-time fan of the band saw potential in the group with Birdman officially signing them to Ca$h Money Records. Limp Bizkit has since record the music video for their debut CMB single with “Ready To Go” last Fall with Tunechi as here we get the official pressed up single release. We’re really loving Wes Borlandj’s solo at the end of the song as you can let us know in the comments your thoughts of the rap/rock (nu metal) collaboration. With the release of Ready To Go, we can now look forward to their seventh studio album “Stampede of the Disco Elephants” releasing hopefully later this year.
