Murder Inc. might be all but dead and gone, but during the tail end of the label’s success, Lloyd dropped some classic R&B albums. The singer hasn’t been seen for about five years, after releasing the album King Of Hearts, which spawned the hit single “Dedication to My Ex (Miss That)” alongside Andre 3000 and Lil Wayne.
Though we’ve heard miscellaneous releases since, Lloyd’s head seems to be back on track and has returned from hiatus with “TRU.” The singer confesses a little of what’s been going on in his world the past few years, but the light at the end of the tunnel is manifested through the track.
