Singer-songwriter, Marsha Ambrosius has been on a recent campaign in preparations for her long-awaited sophomore album, Friends & Lovers. Along with her Diplo-produced lead single “Cold War” making a good impression for listeners, the English songstress decides to release her new single “Stronger Than Pride,” which covers the legendary Sade’s previous “Love is Stronger Than Pride” single from 1988.
Along with an insertion of a sample with Jeru The Damaja’s “Come Clean,” the self-produced V-Day offering from Marsha gives a tale on a the singer swallowing her pride for the sake of being in love with her significant other (hence the song title).
