There’s levels to the judicial system.
Meek Mill is currently behind bars tonight after the Philly rapper was sentenced to three to six months in county jail for violating his probation. Following recent incidents with Meek and a picture he uploaded to his Instagram page showcasing a gun, prosecutors were concerned that he would get himself into some trouble, so they decided to keep him off the streets by sending him to jail.
Whether this pushes back the release date for Dreams Worth More Than Money remains to be seen, but it should teach rappers a lesson. Stay off social networks flexing when it could land you some time behind bars.
UPDATE: According to Karen Civil, Meek’s team says he will be released in 3-4 weeks.
