We’ve seen the name Melii floating around the Internet but we didn’t come around to listening to her music until today, when her single “Believe In Me” caught our ear. The slow burner is soulful and carries a certain level of emotion that made us listen, with her voice reminding us of Kehlani a little bit. Plus, in the song, Melii asks for that person to have some belief in her because it always feels good to be appreciated.
We’ll be checking for the Harlem native from here on out. She’s dope.
