Migos’ ‘CULTURE II’ First Week Sales Revealed

Free Stream: Migos ‘CULTURE 2’

This weekend, official numbers for the new Migos CULTURE II album have finally surfaced from Billboard. The Atlanta group gets to celebrate their second no. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as the effort topped the charts for the week ending of February 2nd.

According to Nielsen Music, the Quality Control members generated 199,000 equivalent album units, driven by streaming platforms. The group scored 150,000 in streaming equivalent albums, 38,000 in traditional album sale and 11,000 in track equivalent albums. This marks the highest earned streaming week for an album since Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. project of 2017.

Considering the project is set to see a physical album release later this week, along with a performance on Saturday Night Live to follow, look for the group to have consistent spot on the charts for the time being. Take a look at their behind-the-scenes GRAMMYs video with Vogue below.
