We haven’t heard much from Musiq Soulchild since last September when he dropped his Feel The Real album. Last year was a good year for Musiq, as he was nominated for a GRAMMY with the effort. He finally shows up for a new record with the help of Marsha Ambrosius, who duets with him on “For Better, For Worse.” As soulful as you’d expect the both to be, they actually keep things very minimalist for their collaboration, letting the lyrics drive the record. The track deals with the ups and downs of relationships and the hurt that comes with the fights.
Could we hear more from the two in the future? Hopefully so.
