Nas Addresses JAY Z Dropping Music When He Does on The Breakfast Club

This past weekend, plenty of jokes were flying out about Nas‘ new album and the fact that JAY Z always releases music around the same time.

In his new interview with The Breakfast Club, (at the 32 minute mark) he addressed the issue but didn’t have much to say. In fact, he said it’s more for Hov to answer. “I think maybe there’s an energy that we both have where maybe we work around the same time. I don’t know man, it’s the synergy. Jay would know better than me,” he said.

Obviously, in the past, JAY has dropped projects like Unplugged, Collision Course with Linkin Park, American Gangster and Everything is Love at the same time Nas has. So it’s very coincidental.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Esco spoke on his new album King’s Disease, what happened to him collaborating with The Notorious B.I.G. and more.
