While Nelly is having fun at his new gig at Fox Sports 1 with Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe, he still hasn’t forgotten about what got him in the game: the music. This weekend he has released a new singled titled “Sounds Good To Me” that has a pop feel all over it. If it wasn’t for Nelly singing, this might double up as a country single or even something Ed Sheeran would have left off the cutting room floor of his album.
There is no word on whether a new project is on the way, but maybe this is a preview of the sound the St. Lunatic is gearing towards for the rest of the year.
