Nicki Minaj Calls Out Rick Ross After Verse on “Apple of My Eye”

If you thought Joe Budden was the only one getting heat from Nicki Minaj on a podcast this week, you are wrong. Her next target just released an album recently and is one of the biggest bosses the rap game has ever seen.

After cutting out the IG Live from the first 30 minutes of the Joe Budden Podcast on her visit, Nicki threw shots at Rick Ross for the disrespect.

According to Minaj, Ross took shots at her on a song called “Apple Of My Eye” in his 2017 Rather You Than Me project after she held Meek Mill down when everyone else was clowning on him. This was following the Drake beef and diss tracks floating around where the Internet was roasting Meek. Though it’s been a while since that happened, Nicki took to the Joe Budden Podcast to call out Ross and set the record straight:

“I went and sat down in a meeting with Obama, President Obama and Ross was there and texted dude after the meeting like, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper.’ I saw the text myself with my own eyes. ‘This chick is a keeper. She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you’re still on probation after all these years.’ And then you come out on an album when it’s time to sell some weak ass fucking album and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj. What?

And now you trying to disrespect 50? Try and hope that 50 would respond to your nonsense this time? Boy, sit yo fat ass down.”

In the lyric, Ross said, “I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki/Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance.”

Rozay has not responded as of yet but expect someone to ask him about the track, his relationship with Nicki and those text messages real soon.
