Watch Nicki Minaj’s return to SNL
After three years, Nicki Minaj finally made her return back to Saturday Night Live. The YMCMB rapper-singer was home in the city for what she was calling a break in promotions for her upcoming third studio album The Pinkprint. With the project officially due out in stores and iTunes this Tuesday, Ms. Minaj graced the stage to perform singles “Bed of Lies,”, “Only” and the recent release of “All Things Go.”

If the promo clips earlier in the weekend with James Franco weren’t enough hilarity for you, Nicki would also partake in various sketches parodying both Beyoncé in Jingle Ballerz and Kim Kardashian’s PAPER magazine spread (see: break the internet) in Weekend Update, as well as briefly jokingly performing “Anaconda.” Unlike many musical guests who fold under pressure in the live setting, we’re hoping this should intrigue show creator Lorne Michael to book her in the future next time for double duties.
