If you’re not up on Nikobeats yet, now’s the perfect time to do so. Fresh off dropping his impressive Black Wax EP alongside Huey Briss earlier this year, the rapper-producer is preparing to release his debut solo album titled 65th St Murals on October 19th.
Ahead of the project, he’s sharing a video for his new track called “Hey.” It’s directed by Elliot Barbernell, and finds Niko in his element: the studio and record stores. Clearly, he’s carrying the rightful torch from his father, Dilated Peoples’ very own DJ Babu.
