“Double Up” may have been on the tail end of Victory Lap, but it’s on front street with the official video to the single. The clip spans 11-minutes in length and tells the autobiographical story of Nipsey Hussle. In the beginning of the story, Nip and Lauren London are a drug dealing duo who are hustling together and making plenty of money. Except, Lauren is shook by the police tailing her while she was moving work. Fast forward years later, she has a new man (a clean cut business guy played by Jackie London) and they’re selling their mansion. Turns out, Nipsey is the one trying to buy it and the two reconnect when he invites her over to the crib for a house warming party. She ends up pulling up alone and the two catch up like old times, while Dom Kennedy and Belly make cameos and enjoy a good time at the crib.
