Noname has released loose tracks and worked with the likes of Chance The Rapper, Mick Jenkins and Kirk Knight down the years,, but now she finally has a body of work of her own. Telefone is her debut project, on which she shines on a 10-track effort with the help of a few familiar names such as Saba, Raury, Smino, Eryn Allen Kane and theMIND.
She sticks to the style we know best, mixing raps and poetry with one another to create a unique body of work. She’s a breathe of fresh air in the crop of Chicago artists, and that’s why she’ll go far.
