Funky. If there’s one way to describe Bruno Mars latest album, that’s the word that should be used. From the beginning of the album, which is the infectious hit 24K Magic to the last track, which is a love ballad the album is beautiful. On “Chunky” he says “If you ain’t here to have fun take your ass back home,” and that couldn’t be more of a true statement.
Bottom line, the album is super fun. The beats make you want to jump up out your seat and dance with the nearest person to you. That’s how on beat this guy is on the album. The album only spans 9 tracks, but each one serves it’s purpose and makes you want to hear music. The first time I heard it, I personally didn’t want it to end. His vocals are top notch, the beats are bouncy and he’s completely showing out the entire time. 24K Magic is an amazing project, and we should all be listening to this for months to come.
