We’ve been waiting for an A$AP Mob project for some time now, and finally on Halloween they gave us a gift better than any candy out there. The album is called Cozy Tapes, Vol. 1: Friends, for a reason. They brought along a ton of guest features to help them out. Notable features include Tyler The Creator, Skepta, ONYX, and a ton of others. A$AP Mob brought out all the stops for the tape, and it works.
A couple of the songs are songs we heard already but they still fit in the scope of things nonetheless. There are a few special moments on the tape such as Nast on “Nasty’s World,” or “Put That On My Set,” which features a spin of Willie Hutch’s “Brother’s Gonna Work It Out,” and A$AP Rocky and Skepta trading verses.
