Onyx – Walk In New York
At the peak of the East Coast / West Coast “Beef,” the Queens rap group Onyx put out their 2nd studio album with on the last track was probably our favorite record from the album titled “Walk in New York”. While NYC was doing too much West coast dick-lickin, the South Jamaica Crew put this record out to rep the city like it should be with even 2pac showing love to the crew when they came out to LA to perform this record.
“We don’t throw gang signs in New York, We just be on some shit in New York”; which gang life was originally some Chicago and Cali shit as the Onyx crew kept it Authentic New York.
