You probably weren’t expecting some new Pharoahe Monch music to start the year, but here he is with a standalone record to kick off 2019. As you’d probably assume, “Yayo” is a metaphor for cocaine and he’s using a gang of movies to bring the bars alive. At the end of the clip, he also posted a phone number for people who may be struggling with addiction. So, as much as he’s kicking the lyrics, he also has a message.
