When hearing Phil Beaudreau’s impressive melodies on a regular release, the general concept is to focus on the singer and what he personally has to offer to to the audience. This time the tables turn in the opposite direction with Beaudreau taking his attention to the tragic explosion that recently took place in his hometown of Boston. “Raid (Enemy)” acts as Phil’s personal ode to that day , as he provides his own vocals over a Madlib intrumental that he was listening to at the finish line of the famous marathon.
