Post Malone is fresh off releasing his debut album Stoney last month. The Syracuse rapper recently stopped by Genius to break down the lyrics and explain the meaning behind “Deja Vu,” his collaboration with Justin Bieber.
The song is about the early stages of hanging out with his girlfriend, who he has been with for two years now. “I’m not a good texter, so I’ll just be at the studio and recording but not on my phone, and she doesn’t like that very much,” he says about his girlfriend.
