While Billboard is in a complete “re-design”, they decide to take things back in the meantime and put none other than Prince on their latest cover… As well as their magazine getting a new format, Billboard.com will also be changing, as well as an iPad app in discussions. They hope for you to be able to share chart information via your social media websites, and an easier music, video, and photo stream incorporated as well… In the words of Billboard editor, Bill Werde:
“The music industry is a dynamic place, and this book will serve your information needs more than ever, going deeper into the trends, technologies and ideas shaping your decisions. If you don’t learn something that will help your business in every issue, we aren’t doing our jobs.”
Expect to see the new cover on newsstands January 26th.
