After being indicted for child pornography and obstruction of justice charges and transported to New York, R. Kelly hasn’t pled not guilty to the sexual abuse charges at arraignment in federal court. Kellz was also denied bail due to his alleged involvement in a sex “cult” and will return to Chicago.
At the moment, Kelly is facing charges in three states, including Illinois, New York and Georgia.
According to the Department of Justice, his five counts in New York are “involving the coercion and transportation of women and girls in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual activity.”
Kelly continues to deny any guilt.
